Since business in most of our accommodation facilities is seasonal, we employ
a substantial number of seasonal workers during the summer tourist season
(April/May - September/October): cooks, waiters, animators, help in kitchens and
dining rooms, and maids.

Personnel development
We in Maistra do not believe education is over when you get your diploma.
Education is a perpetual process that merely continues by employment in
Maistra.
The educational fields we are active in are:
- foreign languages
One of the basic skills required of employees in
tourism is active knowledge of foreign languages. We offer our employees
constant improvement in the field.
- IT training
It is carried out for the purpose of increasing computer
literacy of all employees. We have our own trainer for this field, carrying our
internal education.
- professional seminars
In order to ensure efficient fulfillment of
business requirements and keep up to date with the latest trends, professional
seminars are regularly organized for:
- employees in hotel operations: reception, economics, dining room, kitchen,
animation
- employees in business functions: marketing and sales, finance and
controlling, human resources management, IT, procurement, maintenance
- development of managerial skills
The objective of the program is
acquisition of basic managerial soft skills (teamwork, communication, guidance,
delegation, decision-making, negotiation, presentation skills, emotional
intelligence...) and basic managerial tools such as: project management, change
management, reading financial indicators, personnel management, use of IT
benefits in business processes.
