Hotel Lone
Design Hotel

Hotel Lone is a unique design hotel in Croatia which represents a design-focused synergy of functionality, harmony and elegance. Featuring an impeccable blend of luxury, beauty, style and cultural heritage, the design hotel is a year-round leisure and business destination.

All the accommodation units of the six-story seaside hotel nested in the forest park of Zlatni rt afford a spectacular view of the surroundings. The interior decoration embodies the basic aesthetic values of this design hotel, with simple lines and functionality merging with the appeal of the surroundings. The playful arrangement of mirrors, glass walls and indoor areas, visually extending towards spacious terraces, is present in all of the rooms and suites. Wood, stone elements and fabrics dominate the interior, providing a pleasant dim-out effect contrasted by black and white walls and wallpaper décor. The furnishings have been designed and tailored to the Lone hotel exclusively by a Croatian studio specialized in product design called Numen Group.

Questions & Answers

Q: Hello.

A: Hello.

Q: What is Hotel Lone?

A: Hotel Lone is Maistra’s, design hotel, situated in the Zlatni Rt [Golden Cape] forest park, just ten minutes from the centre of Rovinj, one of the most picturesque towns on the Adriatic.

Q: What exactly does "design hotel" mean?

A: It means that this is a hotel that nurtures the concept of interesting and functional spatial design. In addition to the hotel architecture, designed by the studio 3LHD, virtually all the interior design elements were created especially for Lone. The furniture was designed by Grupa Numen/For Use, the textile décor by the I-GLE studio, the artistic installations in the hotel are works by artists Ivana Franke and Silvio Vujičić, and the hotel’s visual identity was created by the agency Bruketa & Žinić OM.

Q: Rooms? Anything special?

A: In addition to 12 suites, we have 236 boutique-style rooms and yes, they are all special.

Q: I’ll bet. But I’m picky, so tell me a little more, are they all the same, what do they contain?

A: There are four different types of rooms – Premium, Grand, Deluxe Plunge Pool and Family, and three types of suites – Gallery, Bay and Deluxe suite Lone. Each room and suite is equipped with all the amenities a contemporary guest expects to have. All rooms and suites include a spacious balcony, while the suites offer both a view over the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding Zlatni Rt park forest. It is worthwhile mentioning the private massage tubs with infinity pool effect on the balcony of the Deluxe Plunge Pool rooms, providing all the luxury of a top class hotel. If you are here on business, we recommend the Bay suite or Grand room, both of which are equipped for the needs of business people, while if you’re vacationing with family, we would recommend the Family room. We are sure that we can offer you a space to meet your every need.

Q: Lovely. What can I do when I’m not in my room?

A: You can do whatever you like. You can spend time at the "L" and "ON" restaurants, with menus based on the local culinary tradition, or the restaurant "E", which offers a variety of fish specialities from the Mediterranean region. You can also relax in one of our bars or enjoy a good jazz concert in our night club.

Q: A healthy lifestyle is very important to me. What does the hotel offer in its wellness centre?

A: Our Wellness & Spa centre offers a wide range of facilities and treatments created in synergy with nature, such as a whirlpool room with different hydromassage effects, saunas, a spacious indoor pool, comfortable Relax zone and many other relaxing options.

Q: Exercise is an important part of my daily routine, tell me a little about what you offer.

A: Our Wellness & Spa centre also includes a fully equipped gym, while the hotel grounds offer the possibility for many outdoor activities, such as recreational cycling or jogging.

Q: What if I have chosen to stay at the Hotel Lone while on business?

A: If you are here on business, we can offer you three modern conference halls, the largest of which has a seating capacity of 650 persons. In addition to the conference capacities of Hotel Lone, we can also offer the conference facilities of the Maistra sister hotels, which have a capacity of more than 3,000 persons in Rovinj.

Q: Is there anything else I should know?

A: Of course, much more! You can find out more by browsing through this website.

Q: Great, thank you!

A: You’re welcome!
