Grand Park Hotel Rovinj Among The World’s 50 Best Hotels

Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, part of the Maistra Hospitality Group, is the first and only hotel in Croatia to earn a place on the prestigious The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025 list. In doing so, the hotel has once again reaffirmed its status as one of the leading luxury hotels in the region and beyond.

Tomislav Popović, President of the Management Board at Maistra, noted that this award reflects years of commitment to excellence and superior service, while also serving as further encouragement in strengthening Istria’s position as a luxury destination on the world tourism map, sure to attract even more discerning travellers.

The World’s 50 Best Hotels list is one of the most influential global benchmarks of excellence in the hospitality industry. The winners are selected by more than 600 independent experts from the world of luxury travel – hoteliers, designers, travel writers, and professional reviewers – who evaluate hotels based on service, design, authenticity, sustainability, and the overall guest experience.

Nestled alongside the Golden Cape forest park, with stunning views of Rovinj’s old town, Grand Park offers 209 rooms and suites, seven restaurants and bars, the luxurious Albaro Wellness & Spa, and a wealth of amenities that combine modern luxury with an authentic experience of the destination. The architecture is the work of acclaimed studio 3LHD, while the interiors were designed by internationally renowned Piero Lissoni.

Alongside this international recognition, the hotel has celebrated several other major achievements this year: Grand Park was honoured with the prestigious Michelin Key award, presented by the Michelin Guide to hotels that excel in quality of stay, design, and hospitality. In addition, Cap Aureo, led by Chef Jeffrey Vella, earned its first Michelin star, while Agli Amici Rovinj successfully retained its two Michelin stars.
