The Signature Dish: 4 of a Kind Wins Silver at the Eventex Awards

Maistra’s exclusive gourmet event The Signature Dish: 4 of a Kind has won a silver award at the prestigious 2025 Eventex Awards – in not one, but two categories: Gala Event and Experiential Event. In a highly competitive field of over 1,200 entries from 59 countries across six continents, Maistra’s project was recognised as a standout example of excellence, successfully blending high gastronomy, art, and sustainability.

The concept behind this event was designed to celebrate local values through a unique culinary experience, promote sustainable practices, and position Istria and Rovinj as premier gourmet destinations. The Signature Dish also invites participants to rethink their relationship with food and resources, highlighting the importance of a local, seasonal, and responsible approach to cooking. The third and most recent edition took place on 25 October last year, bringing together four renowned chefs from Istria’s most prestigious Michelin-starred and recommended restaurants: Jeffrey Vella (Cap Aureo), Emanuele Scarello and Simone De Lucca (Agli Amici Rovinj), Danijel and Ilja Đekić (Monte), and Damir Pejčinović (Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery). Each chef presented a signature dish inspired by local ingredients, their distinctive culinary style, and a shared commitment to sustainability. In addition to showcasing the very best of the gourmet scene, The Signature Dish: 4 of a Kind also carries a strong charitable message – proceeds from the dinner are directed toward supporting young culinary talent.
